The Bakery

Established in 2018 as a home-based, dedicated gluten free bakery, we focused on clean, simple, organic and mostly local ingredients, selling at Goshen Farmer’s Market.

As of October 2022, we moved into a dedicated gluten free bakery in New Paris, Indiana where we are open to the public—a dream come true!

Vi Miller
Owner and Baker Extraordinaire

“I love food! And I love to bake and experiment with different ingredients and flavors. Maybe that has always been in my blood, or maybe it’s the traveling and living abroad that has deepened it. I don’t know. I think it’s a combination.”

While on a personal food journey of cleaner eating to improve her health, Vi discovered how difficult it could be to find food that was healthy AND delicious. It became her goal to find ways of cooking/baking healthy without losing the enjoyment of delectable food. She “officially” started baking gluten free, not just dabbling here and there, in 2018. She loves hospitality and being a blessing to others and comes with an extensive professional background in the food industry.

  • Donna

    After Hours Baker - bakes breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, granola, experiments with new recipes and aids Vi in any other baking requests.
    Donna has been with Baked by Vi since Day One, and is part of the leadership team.

  • Steve

    In addition to being Vi’s husband, Steve is also the Accountant, Payroll Processor, Bookkeeper and part-time Handy-man for Baked by Vi.
    Without his support, Vi and her bakery wouldn’t be what we know and love today!

  • Krista

    The second of Vi’s three daughters, Krista handles a lot of the back-end responsibilities for Baked by Vi, including but not limited to designing and sending monthly newsletters, website maintenance, promos and flyers, event organization, and being a soundboard for new ideas. She also joins Donna and Vi on the bakery leadership team.
